The Great Salt Lake Basin: Connections, challenges and solutions story map is an educational resource developed by the Utah Division of Water Resources, with support from the Great Salt Lake Strike Team.
Purpose (as stated in the Story Map)
The surface elevation of the Great Salt Lake decreased to an all-time low in 2022. To protect this resource we must first understand how it responds to climate variability and human decisions. Here you can explore how climate, hydrology and water management affect the rise and fall of the lake. Continue to learn about this system, the challenges we face and what we can do to restore and maintain a healthy lake.
