The words "Predict its Rise" with Great Salt Lake in the background

Predict its rise and win a prize! Thanks to another stellar snowpack year, concerted conservation and strategic management efforts (including releasing water from Utah Lake and other reservoirs) Great Salt Lake is on the rise. How high do you think the south arm of the lake will rise before it starts to drop again due to evaporation and use, and when will this peak happen? We’re holding another contest and you could win some DNR swag (and bragging rights). Use this form to make a guess between now and May 30. Some hints to help you:

💧Its current level is 4,194.7
💧Its historic low in Nov. 2022 was 4,188.5
💧Its recorded max was 4,211.6 in 1986
💧2023 peak = 4,194.0 (June 20), rising about 5.5 feet
💧2022 peak = 4,191.4 (April), rising just over 1 foot
